Restaurant Captain

 

Qualifications and Skills:
 
  • Degree in Hospitality / Tourism, preferably specializing in F&B management
  • WSET Level 2 Certificate
  • 2 years minimum previous experience in similar position in a 5* hotel
  • Previous experience in a Marriot Hotel would be considered an asset
  • Excellent use of Greek, English and German language
  • Proactive, strong communicator with attention to detail, excellent planning, organizational and analytical skills
  • Sales & cost oriented
  • Teamwork spirit, professional behavior, integrity, discrete and precise

 

Duties and responsibilities:
 
  • Organizing, supervising and training his team
  • Comply with HACCP Standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient operations
  • Monitoring stock control and inventory
  • Coordinating and supervising daily restaurant tasks
  • Focusing in customer service, customer satisfaction, problem solving and upselling
  • Replenishing Maître’s tasks at his day off
