Assistant Accountant

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Updating financial spreadsheets with daily transactions
  • Preparing balance sheets
  • Tracking and reconciling bank statements
  • Process tax payments
  • Support monthly payroll and keep organized records
  • Record accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Process invoices and follow up with clients, suppliers and partners as needed
  • Provide administrative support during budget preparation
  • Participate in annual audits


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor in Accounting/Finance or related studies
  • A relevant master would be considered an asset
  • Experience in a similar position for a minimum of 3-5 years
  • Communication Abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of Accounting Software (SoftOne ERP, Pylon) and Microsoft Office (word, excel)
  • Fluency in English
  • Attention to details
  • Team Spirit
  • Accountability
  • Self-motivation
  • Excellent time management skills
