HR Professional

Phaea Resorts is looking to recruit an efficient Human Resources (HR) Professional located at the Head Office in Heraklion. Your goal will be to promote company values and enable business success through human resources management, including recruitment, performance management, training & development, labor law management and other Human Resources related activities. Key Duties:
Develop, implement, and monitor overall HR strategies, initiatives, systems, tactics, and procedures, aligned with the business strategy across the organization
Co-ordinate the recruitment and selection process and take steps to ensure positive candidate experience
Participate in job career days and host in-house recruitment events
Act as a consultant to new hires and help them onboard
Support current and future business vision and needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital
Assess the training and development needs and organize training events 
Nurture a positive working environment
Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
Perform orientations, onboarding and update records with new hires
Produce and submit reports on general HR activity
Design and update job descriptions
Collaborate with managers to identify future hiring needs
Support other HR functions as assigned
Qualifications and Skills required:
BS/MS degree in Human Resources Management or related field 
Proven working experience as HR Professional for 3-4 years
People oriented and results driven
Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics
In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
Good sense of responsibility and commitment to confidentiality
Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
Prior Hospitality experience, in a similar position would be considered an asset 
Ability to handle data with confidentiality
Good organizational and time management skills
Confident team player
Ability to travel when needed
