Bar Supervisor

Duties & Responsibilities
 
  • Supervising of the bars day to day operations
  • Daily presence in the F&B outlets ensuring that all established SOP’s are met
  • Participation in weekly F&B operational meetings
  • Participation in the creation of exceptional bar menus in conjunction with the F&B Manager and based on the latest trends
  • Management of labor, beverage cost in all bars based on the established budgets
  • Continuous training, guiding, motivation and supervision of all Bar associates
  • Maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety in all bars
  • Participation in the co-ordination of cocktail and bar events
  • Handling of complaints aiming the maximization of guest satisfaction
  • Making suggestions to increase organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety or cost-saving
 
Qualifications & Skills
 
  • Experience in leading teams
  • Professional experience in a luxury (preferred branded) 5* hotel or high-volume bars
  • A bar school diploma will be considered an asset
  • Good knowledge of POS Systems
  • Excellent command of English (any additional languages will be considered an asset)
  • Excellent knowledge of wines, spirits & mixology techniques
  • Preferably a graduate of Hospitality and Tourism School
  • Customer Service orientation
  • Exceptional Communication Skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
