Restaurant Manager

Key Duties:
Plan, organize, direct & control the daily operation of the hotel’s restaurant, ensuring maximum guest satisfaction and financial results, according to the company standards
Supervise and manage the restaurant staff, be always present in the outlet during operation periods
Lead the restaurant team, pay attention to details, monitor service and food & beverage standards, take necessary corrective actions (when required)
Coordinate with the Management and department heads for all daily requirements (arrivals, departures, VIP guests, special arrangements)
Greet guests and present menu options, by demonstrating a thorough knowledge of the menus and ingredients. Proceed with orders (when required)
Always maintain the restaurant and tables neat and clean
Handle any guest complaints in an exceptionally professional manner, seeking assistance from manager (if necessary)
Ensure quality standards are met, by conducting daily walkthroughs
Lead by example & serve as a role model to demonstrate appropriate behavior. Solve any conflicts and assist the bonding of an efficient team
Follow all relevant Health & Safety department regulations & all guest service guidelines
Qualifications and Skills required:
Studies in Hotel Management are required 
Work experience in a similar position at a 5 * Luxury hotel for at least 2 years
Prior International Chain Hotel experience, in a similar position would be considered an asset 
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work under pressure
Ability in handling operational problems
Excellent communication skills
Greek nationality
Excellent command of English
Knowledge of any additional languages will be considered an asset.
Computer literacy (Ms office, Opera, PMS systems)
